Introduction:

Location: Pluak Daeng, Rayong

Responsibilities:

1. Lead tooling design and development for foam injection molds, ensuring manufacturability, optimal foam flow, and surface quality standards for new product launches.
2. Review tooling designs and conduct feasibility studies to guarantee tooling readiness for mass production.
3. Manage tooling modification projects to minimize foam rework, scrap, and downtime across production sites.
4. Develop and maintain tooling technical specifications, maintenance procedures, and standard documentation for Asia operations.
5. Collaborate closely with global tooling and engineering teams to introduce new tooling technologies and best practices.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling performance, reduce costs, and improve process efficiency.
7. Conduct lessons learned and root cause analyses from foam surface or tooling issues, ensuring preventive actions are implemented.
8. Organize technical workshops and deliver training programs to strengthen the capability of regional tooling teams.
9. Provide technical support and sign-off on foam tooling for other regions when required.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing, and maintenance within the foam injection or automotive seating industry.
3. Strong knowledge of reaction injection molding (RIM) process and foam tooling modification.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD and CATIA; experience in mold and fixture design is essential.
5. Proven ability to lead multiple tooling projects concurrently and manage cross-functional communication.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
7. Fluent English communication; Mandarin is an advantage.
8. Willing to travel regionally to support manufacturing sites and joint ventures.
