Introduction:

Our client, a newly established semiconductor manufacturing plant that just began operations in earlier years, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Manager to lead their procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities related to semiconductor components, including diodes, PCB boards, and circuits. This role is crucial for ensuring a stable and cost-effective supply chain to support their production goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones to ensure a reliable and high-quality material supply.
2. Negotiation: Lead negotiations on price, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible value.
3. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
4. Inventory Control: Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
5. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, material costs, and new technologies in the semiconductor industry to make informed purchasing decisions.
6. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering).
2. Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably within the semiconductor or electronic components industry.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in English or Chinese is required to communicate with international suppliers, partners and internal.
