Introduction:

Reporting to Operations Director, base in Bangkok. This role Operation Manager has management responsibility for the provision of the contracted service deliverables by Our client to the Minor Food contract and other clients. These services include distribution centre management in the NDC operation at the Asia Suvarnabhumi Industrial Estate, KlongSuan, Bangbor Samutprakarn. The position is also responsible for allocating all resources, including equipment, facilities and employees, as well as acting as the focal point for communication between Our client, customer Minor Food, employees and contractors. The DC Operations Manager establishes and maintains an efficient and cost-effective warehouse team to ensure that the Our client contracted outcomes are achieved in the most timely, efficient and cost-effective manner to both Our client, the Minor Food & other clients contract.

Responsibilities:

This is a senior role reporting directly to the Assistance Operation Director. This position is responsible for driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring best-in-class performance across all aspects of the organizations warehousing and transportation operations. The role will lead strategic initiatives to optimize processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the companys growth objectives.


Develop and execute the organizations operations excellence strategy

Strategic Leadership aligned with business goals.

Act as a thought leader and change agent to promote a high-performance culture.

Conduct comprehensive operational assessments to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement across warehousing, transportation, and supply chain functions.

Develop and implement robust action plans to enhance productivity, accuracy, and resource utilization.

Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows, Process Improvement eliminate waste, and reduce lead times.

Establish and standardize best practices, ensuring consistent operational excellence across all sites and teams.

Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and process redesign workshops to foster collaboration and innovation.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives through data analysis and regular feedback, ensuring continuous refinement.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational Performance Management effectiveness.

Conduct root cause analysis on performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and systems to drive Innovation & Technology efficiency and scalability.

Collaborate with IT to implement solutions that enhance visibility, automation, and decision-making.

Partner with site operations, customer service, and business

Stakeholder Collaboration development teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure alignment with operational goals.

Champion environmental and sustainability initiatives to reduce the

Sustainability and Compliance organizations carbon footprint.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all operations.


Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or above in Logistics & Supply Chain, Industrial

Engineering, Industrial Management, Economic, Administration Management or related field


At least 12 years in Distribution Centre Management or Big Warehouse

Operation Management especially in Foods and/or retail industries.

Knowledge of the Development background

Well-developed customer service skills experience

Ability to communicate effectively across a range of organisational levels,

from senior managers to drivers

Excellent to communicate & written in English

Demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships

Excellent presentation skills

High level of self-motivation

Considerable commercial business acumen

Detailed knowledge of logistics management business

An understanding of basic financial planning, accounting and reporting

practices

Understanding of basic computing applications, including word processing

and spread sheets

Can work under pressure, work independently, self-motivate, work-life

integrate, resilience & empathy.

People management skills and soft skills are required.

Extensive background comprising of on-the-job training, work experience,

administrative systems and specific skills development within a Food Retail

environment and warehouse.

Experience with RF and/or Voice Picking Warehouse Systems and

accountability for management accuracy of clients inventory.

Good working knowledge of office information systems and computer skills

such as MS Excel Power BI, SQL or similar

Good understanding and application of budgeting and finance systems.

Staff management experience, including negotiation and communication

skills.

Customer service experience and skills.

Change management and leadership skills.

Previous management experience and a sound knowledge of transport

services.

Good understanding of legislation applicable to the workplace and ability

to act in accordance with (but not limited to) OH&S guidelines, duty of care

responsibilities, chain of responsibility legislation, Drug & Alcohol policy,

and all Our client workplace policies.
