Introduction:

Operation Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing activities to meet production targets and timelines.
  2. Ensure effective utilization of resources (human, equipment, materials) in the manufacturing process.
  3. Oversee and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
  4. Monitor and maintain the quality of products to ensure compliance with company standards.
  5. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
  6. Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements in the production process.
  7. Implement process optimization initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity.
  8. Monitor performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely ordering of materials.
  10. Work with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials for production without overstocking.
  11. Assist in managing the operations team, ensuring proper training, development, and performance monitoring.
  12. Support team members in solving operational issues and improving their performance.
  13. Ensure that manufacturing operations are in line with safety regulations and company policies.
  14. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  15. Assist in the preparation of operational reports for management review, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), challenges, and areas for improvement.
  16. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that operational needs are met and production schedules align with customer demand.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
  5. Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.
  6. Proficient in using MS Office and manufacturing software.
  7. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
