Introduction:
About the Client: Our client is a world-leading Tier-1 Automotive Manufacturer known for its high-standards and large-scale global operations. We are seeking a strategic HR leader to partner directly with the Plant Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR & Plant Alignment: Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to the Plant Manager and functional leaders. Responsible for the overall management and deployment of HRM, HRD, C&B, and General Affairs strategies, ensuring all people-related operations support the manufacturing goals of the plant.
- Industrial & Employee Relations (ER): Partner with leadership and the ER Center to develop and implement best practices, manage the Welfare Committee, and oversee internal communications. Act as the central point for managing employee complaints, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions across the entire plant operation.
- Talent Management & Development: Closely coordinate with the Talent Management function for employee development, succession planning, and training (both technical and non-technical basic skills), ensuring a robust pipeline of skilled manpower.
- Operational HR & Recruitment: Manage and execute the HRM operational plan, including actively coordinating with the Talent Acquisition Center for mass recruitment activities necessary to meet the plant's manpower planning requirements (1,000+ employee scale).
- Organizational Control & Compliance: Responsible for the management and control of company rules/regulations and the overall HR operational process. Work closely with Internal Audit to ensure all HR activities and processes maintain full compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Change Management: Work closely with Line Managers as a trusted advisor on sensitive organizational decisions, including promotion, demotion, transfer, and cross-plant headcount exchange, ensuring organizational treatment of employees aligns with core business values.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources Management, with at least 5 years at a Manager/Management Level, ideally within a large multinational manufacturing environment (experience with 1,000+ employees is advantageous).
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Core Skills: Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, dispute resolution, negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of disciplinary management and computerized HR systems (data analysis/reporting).
- Language: Good command of both spoken and written English.
