Introduction:

Location: Rayong

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular plant rounds to proactively identify and report any abnormalities and other operational concerns.
2. Accurately collect field data (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) and promptly report any deviations to the DCS/Shift Incharge.
3. Communicate real-time field observations effectively to the Shift DCS Engineer.
4. Support critical plant activities such as startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling, strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
5. Execute manual adjustments of valves, dampers, and instruments as directed from the control room.
6. Verify the status of field equipment during interlocks, trips, or maintenance activities.
7. Manage specific operational tasks, including reactor burner changes due to abnormalities or grade changeovers, and prepare solutions for reactor and mixer additives using appropriate PPE.
8. Monitor reactor/APH expansion during heating/cooling cycles and perform silo rounds as required.
9. Collect process samples and ensure timely delivery to the laboratory according to schedule.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in process industries, preferably in sectors such as Carbon Black, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Refinery.
3. Familiarity with DCS-controlled operations and continuous process environments is highly desirable.
4. Strong understanding of plant operations and various equipment, including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, bag filters, and pelletizers.
5. Possess a problem-solving attitude with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to abnormal conditions.
6. Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
7. Able to work rotating shift duties.
