Introduction:
We are seeking a dedicated ER and CSR Specialist to support the critical setup phase of our new manufacturing facility (Greenfield Project) in Rayong. This role is designed for a specialist who excels in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Policy Localization. You will act as the key link between our Global HQ and the local community, ensuring our corporate standards are successfully adapted to the Thai context while building strong roots in the local region.
Responsibilities:
1. Policy Adaptation & Global Alignment (Primary Focus)
- HQ Policy Localization: Take global HR frameworks and employee handbooks provided by Global HQ and adapt them into compliant, culturally relevant local policies for the Thai workforce.
- Internal Governance: Ensure that all newly adapted policies align with both global corporate values and strict Thai Labor Law requirements.
- Management Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for Global HQ to communicate local implementation progress and project milestones.
2. CSR & Community Relations (Primary Focus)
- Strategic CSR Leadership: Design and lead the plant’s CSR roadmap, focusing on building long-term, positive relationships with the local Ayutthaya community and government stakeholders.
- Greenfield Public Relations: Manage the company’s public image during the construction and commissioning phases, ensuring transparent and proactive engagement with local neighbors.
- Environmental & Social Compliance: Work closely with project teams to ensure all community-related permits and social impact standards are met.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Core Expertise: Significant experience in CSR, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Policy Adaptation: Proven ability to translate and adjust high-level Global/HQ policies into practical, local operational procedures.
- Community Relations: A strong track record of managing CSR projects and navigating local government/community relations during a project’s "Greenfield" or setup phase.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is essential for direct reporting to and coordination with Global HQ.
- Operational Mindset: A "hands-on" coordinator who is comfortable supporting various HR functions (Recruitment, Payroll, Admin) during the intensive plant startup period.
- Work Schedule: Must be available to work 6 days per week during the plant setup and commissioning phase.
