Introduction:
The Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the market success of the assigned fertilizer brand. This position requires a strong focus on in-depth market research and analysis to understand farmer behavior and market needs intimately. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing strategies, with a particular emphasis on rebranding initiatives to enhance brand awareness and capture a larger market share. This role involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure product and strategy alignment with market demands.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to deeply understand the needs of assigned crops and farmer behaviors in targeted areas.
- Analyze consumer behavior and farmer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and formulate marketing strategies and pricing policies based on market insights to achieve market share targets.
- Lead rebranding initiatives and develop communication strategies related to branding, communication, and marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and improve brand perception, aiming for increased sales volume/revenue.
- Study and analyze guidelines and formats for product placement and sales by distributor stores.
- Monitor and improve performance by crop and brand in accordance with the specified budget and marketing plan.
- Plan strategic activities related to sales promotions and distribution , ensuring marketing expenses (A&P) are within the annual budget.
- Prepare summary reports, analyze data, and present findings for use in strategic planning and overall company marketing strategy.
- Implement quality management systems effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Strategic Management, Economics, Agriculture, Soil Science, Field Crops, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in consumer product marketing or similar product management. Experience in fertilizer or agricultural supplement products would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in market research, consumer behavior analysis, and developing strategies based on insights.
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with knowledge and understanding in agriculture, especially in soil and plant nutrients, plant production physiology, fertilizer use, or experience in soil/fertilizer research, or consumer behavior research.
- Strong analytical thinking, particularly in market data and behavioral insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey market findings and strategic proposals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on market growth.
