Assistant Director / Director Fabric Sales (UK/EU) Base in Wuxi, China Office Market Focus: UK and European Union The Role This is a pivotal leadership role for a seasoned sales professional with deep expertise in the European fashion and performance textile markets. As a key leader based in our Wuxi office, you will be responsible for driving our European sales strategy. You will leverage our advanced textile innovations and sustainability initiatives to forge and strengthen partnerships with major UK and EU apparel and lifestyle brands, significantly expanding our market presence. Responsibilities:

Lead European Market Growth: Drive strategic sales initiatives to meet ambitious growth targets across the UK and EU, ensuring our fabric developments are aligned with market and brand needs.

Translate Trends into Innovation: Interpret seasonal fashion and performance trends and translate them into commercially viable textile innovations.

Manage Customer Relationships: Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with key brand partners, acting as a central point of contact for their strategic needs.

Develop a Strong Pipeline: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through deep market insights and a robust professional network.

Ensure Project Success: Collaborate closely with our dedicated design, sourcing, and technical teams to deliver bespoke solutions that meet customer requirements for quality, delivery, and cost.

Negotiate and Secure Agreements: Skillfully negotiate competitive and profitable agreements with buyers to secure new partnerships and expand existing accounts.



Requirements:

Approximately 15 years of experience in the textiles or apparel industry, with significant and direct exposure to European fashion markets.

Exceptional knowledge of textile processes, constructions, and dynamic fashion trends.

A proven track record of business development and effective client relationship management.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with extensive experience engaging directly with European brand partners.

A Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required.

Candidates with strong, established relationships and brand-facing experience in Europe will be highly regarded.
