Introduction:

An established outdoor apparel manufacturer is actively hiring a Sales Merchandiser to expand their market footprint globally . Leadership skill is essential and an annual remuneration package will commensurate with experience. This position is based in Vietnam , Hanoi

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Junior Merchandiser
• Coordinate the requests from the buyers with the factory.
• Track, monitor and support production and sample development
• Work closely with the buyers regarding proto samples, making sure all, comments/requirements are implemented, and any quality concerns are resolved.
• Coordinate and interpret all product requirements to the pattern and sample makers and ensure prototype samples are made on time.
• Accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of the specification pack and the accuracy of the sales sample and production tech packs.
• Work with materials/trim suppliers about development and samples as well as sourcing new materials.
• Optimise costing and making FOB price.
• Support the factory/purchasing team and solve any problems arising during production.

Requirements:

• Five years of experience or more with a garment manufacturer
• Minimum of 2 years experience in sweater production and operations
• Understanding of ERP systems
• Good command of English language
• Good leadership and negotiation skills
• Team player, result oriented and self-motivated
