Introduction:

Yamato Industry, Nong Yai, Chonburi

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions to ensure product quality throughout the entire manufacturing process.
2. Manage Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) activities, including supplier evaluation, quality audits, performance monitoring, and raw material quality improvement.
3. Plan and conduct Internal and External Audits, coordinating with customers, certification bodies, and external auditors to ensure compliance.
4. Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
5. Establish quality standards, inspection procedures, control plans, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
6. Oversee quality control for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, particularly in Printing, Die-cutting, Laminating, Gluing, and Corrugated Carton manufacturing processes.
7. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, and SPC, driving effective root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
8. Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, and Warehouse teams to reduce defects, minimize waste, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
9. Lead, coach, and develop the QA/QC team, including workforce planning, performance evaluation, and technical training.
10. Prepare and present Quality KPIs such as Defect Rate, PPM, Customer Complaints, Supplier Performance, and COPQ to senior management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
2. Experience in the Packaging, Paper, Printing, or Corrugated Packaging industry is highly preferred.
3. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of team management experience.
4. Strong knowledge of SQE, Supplier Audit, Internal & External Audit, ISO 9001, and quality tools including 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
5. Good command of English for meetings and reporting; Chinese language skills are a strong advantage.
6. Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
