Introduction:

Amata City Industrial Estate, Rayong

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and continuously improve material management processes, including production planning, sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and cost optimization
  2. Develop production schedules and capacity plans to meet customer demand while coordinating closely with relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery
  3. Lead and manage the planning and purchasing teams in areas such as order fulfillment, material planning, supplier management, and procurement to achieve competitive material costs and optimal lead times
  4. Supervise warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory records, effective stock control, and compliance with company procedures
  5. Provide timely information and decision support to the Engineering team regarding tooling history, maintenance schedules, and delivery commitments for new projects
  6. Monitor production performance against plans, including output, material consumption, cycle time, and material recycling efficiency, and implement corrective actions when necessary
  7. Work closely with the QA team to review quality and delivery performance, identify root causes of deviations, and drive improvement initiatives
  8. Prepare rolling 3-month sales forecasts and coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to support new product launches and ensure accurate material planning
  9. Review customer orders and forecasts regularly to optimize production capacity and maintain responsiveness to demand changes
  10. Collaborate with the MIS team to ensure the availability of accurate and timely management information for decision-making
  11. Ensure all import and export activities comply with Thai Customs regulations and BOI requirements
  12. Communicate the company's vision, objectives, and direction effectively to the team while fostering a positive and high-performance work environment

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Material Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field MBA or advanced qualifications in Materials Management will be an advantage
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Material Management within a multinational manufacturing environment
  3. Strong knowledge of production planning, purchasing, warehouse management, BOI privileges, and Thai Customs regulations
  4. Good command of written and spoken English
  5. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and material management software
  7. Experience with SAP is an advantage
  8. Demonstrated leadership, team management, and organizational skills
