Responsibilities:

Position: Manufacturing Transfer Engineer

Salary: 90,000 - 120,000 THB/month

Location: Chonburi, Thailand

Reporting To: Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the seamless transition of production processes from international sites to our Asian operations.
2. Interpret and refine technical documentation for clarity and accuracy.
3. Train and certify contract manufacturing technicians and engineers.
4. Conduct root cause analyses to troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment challenges.
5. Drive cost efficiency through process enhancements and labour optimization strategies.
6. Identify and eliminate operational waste and inefficiencies.
7. Partner with global teams to spearhead continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
2. Familiarity with optics or semiconductor wafer production.
3. Proficient in both Thai and English.
4. Strong practical experience in mechanical and experimental tasks.
5. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
6. Experience in processing materials such as lithium niobate or quartz.
7. Expertise in grinding, polishing, and high-volume slicing using industrial saws.
8. Understanding of thin film coating processes for metals or dielectrics.
9. Experience with automated cleaning systems.
10. Competence in developing manufacturing systems that integrate manual and automated processes.
11. Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software.
12. Effective project management capabilities.
