Infrastructure Analyst ( Retail )
Introduction:
Our client is an established Retail player in the consumer electronics and furniture retailer with a network of 14 stores nationwide and offerings to more than 14,000 electrical and technological lifestyle products.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support IT Infrastructure including Windows Servers / Network routers & switches / MFP Printers / Desktops & Laptops
- Basic knowledge in configuration and managing Firewall, VPN, Wi-Fi Access Points etc
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to Windows Servers / IT appliances
- Perform periodic preventive and corrective maintenance, updates to software / hardware
- Maintain inventory of IT assets using IT tools such as Lansweeper or System Centre etc • Monitor backup & restoration of databases Knowledge in Active Directory, DNS, GPO, Office 365, SQL Server, Acronis etc
- Provide installation, configuration, maintenance and support to users including branch office users
- Provide EOD support / weekend support based on team roster
- Provide IT support during major campaigns / peak periods
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering or a related field required
- Experience working with PABX / VoIP systems preferred
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in EMC SAN Storage is desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team and establish working relationships with coworkers, staff and external contacts, and work effectively and professionally in a team environment
- Available to work period weekends and off-hours for on-site support requirements
- Available for rotational 24/7 on call support
