Introduction:
The HR & GA Generalist is responsible for the daily execution of human resources, general affairs, and administrative support for the safety department. This role ensures that the facility operates smoothly by managing employee lifecycles, overseeing office services, and maintaining the necessary compliance documentation for both labor and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources Management
- Recruitment: Source and screen candidates for production and office roles. Manage the onboarding process, conduct orientations, and prepare employment contracts.
- Payroll & Attendance: Support the payroll team by accurately tracking OT, daily attendance, and leave records.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries regarding welfare, benefits, and company rules. Support disciplinary actions and ensure all practices align with Thai Labor Law.
- Data Management: Maintain and update the employee database and personnel files to ensure audit readiness.
2. General Affairs (GA)
- Service Management: Oversee the performance of third-party vendors, including Staff Vans/Shuttle Buses, the Canteen, and Security services.
- Facility Maintenance: Coordinate repairs and maintenance for the office, canteen, and common areas within the factory to ensure a productive working environment.
- Uniform & Asset Management: Manage the procurement and issuance of company uniforms, ID cards, and the maintenance of office equipment/supplies.
3. Safety & Compliance Support
- Safety Documentation: Assist the Safety Officer in preparing and submitting mandatory reports to the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare (DLPW), such as accident reports or Safety Officer registrations.
- Training Records: Maintain records of safety orientations, fire drills, and technical training. Coordinate the submission of training hours to the Department of Skill Development.
- Permit Administration: Support the administration of the Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring that subcontractor documents and certifications are filed correctly before work begins.
- PPE Coordination: Manage the inventory, ordering, and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to employees.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in HR and General Affairs within a Manufacturing environment (Automotive or Electronics preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Thai Labor Law and basic social security regulations.
- Familiarity with industrial safety documentation requirements (DLPW & Skill Development).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for data tracking).
- Language: Good command of English (written and verbal) for coordination with management and reporting.
- Soft Skills: High level of integrity, strong organizational skills, and a "hands-on" approach to problem-solving in a factory environment.
