Introduction:

This role is for a strategic and hands-on Human Resources & Compliance Manager who will be responsible for leading all people-related functions and ensuring the company operates within legal and ethical standards. You will develop and implement HR policies, drive recruitment and employee engagement initiatives, and oversee all aspects of HR management. Additionally, you will be the key person for maintaining full compliance with labor laws and international standards, managing audits, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees through robust EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) protocols. This is a vital position that requires both a deep understanding of HR principles and a meticulous approach to legal and operational compliance. Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and contract management for all levels of staff. Establish and monitor KPIs using SMART indicators to evaluate employee performance and departmental effectiveness. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling. Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination in collaboration with finance. Conduct regular training programs on workplace ethics, safety, and company policies. Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture. Compliance & Legal Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, industrial regulations, and international standards (e.g., WRAP, SMETA, BSCI). Conduct internal audits and prepare compliance reports for management and external stakeholders. Lead the implementation and supervision of CTPAT systems and other buyer-specific compliance programs. Maintain and renew factory licenses, certifications, and permits in coordination with government agencies. Liaise with local authorities and community leaders to ensure smooth operations and social responsibility alignment. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Conduct daily factory tours to monitor EHS compliance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe working conditions and adherence to safety protocols. Organize fire drills, safety training, and emergency response planning. Strategic Advisory Provide HR and compliance insights to support business decisions, workforce planning, and operational improvements. Support digitalisation and HRIS implementation to streamline administrative processes and data management.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 810 years of HR and compliance experience in a manufacturing or apparel environment.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and international compliance standards.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

This position requires to set up all HR and Compliance required framework and SOP accordingly to regulatory standards and maintain it.
