Introduction:
Our client is one of the oldest American Bakery in food history. Due to their expansion, The role Finance Manager is open for local talent joining their team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the finance team and manage the full set of accounts with timely monthly profit and loss reporting
Review group monthly and quarterly performance, analysis and reporting
Manage the cash flow of the Company and review audited financial statement
Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
Continuous implementation of best practise internal control procedures for Finance and the company
Hands-on day to day Finance operational tasks such as:
• Leasing related admin, correspondence and business case simulations
• Office repair and maintenance
• Deal with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and bankers
Maintain product costings and control with simulations and margin analysis
Continually monitor, track and review product costs and company expenses
Forecasting the usage of raw materials, and coordinate with key suppliers for re-ordering of raw materials and packaging, and quality issues
Handling batter order forecast
Administer franchise-related matters
Undertake any ad-hoc assignment as and when needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting
Be a qualified accountant (Member of a recognised accounting body such as Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), ASCPA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
Minimum Diploma in Accounting and understanding of bookkeeping procedures is required
Hands-on experience with accounting software and Excel
