To spearhead this critical expansion, the group is seeking a high-caliber strategic Channel Sales with profound insights into the Japanese business This pivotal role will be instrumental in navigating market complexities and establishing a robust commercial foundation within the region.
As part of its strategic expansion into the Japanese market, The Partner Sales (Channel Sales) position plays a critical role in developing cybersecurity business through channel partners in Japan.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the channel sales model, is experienced in working closely with Japanese partners, and is motivated to contribute directly to laying the foundation for the group long-term business growth in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Acquisition & Development
● Proactively identify, approach, and develop channel partners in Japan (resellers, agents, strategic partners).
● Negotiate, establish, and execute partnership agreements in line with company strategy.
Partner Relationship Management
● Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners, ensuring high partner satisfaction.
● Work closely with partners to drive prioritization of products and services.
Sales Growth & Deal Management
● Develop and execute joint business plans with partners.
● Support partners in achieving sales targets (KPIs) at each stage.
● Monitor sales pipeline, deal progress, and resolve issues arising during the sales process.
● Actively identify, develop, and close direct B2B enterprise deals for cybersecurity solutions when required.
Partner Enablement & Support
● Train partners on products, solutions, sales policies, and workflows.
● Provide and regularly update sales and marketing materials (sales kits, proposals, brochures, case studies, etc.).
Reporting & Performance Analysis
● Track and evaluate the business performance of each partner.
● Prepare periodic reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) on channel sales performance and revenue.
Minimum3–5years of B2B sales experience in IT/software in the Japanese market.
Japanese nationality with Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1 or above, including:
Strong understanding of Japanese business culture, working style, and decision- making processes.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and partner management skills.
Proactive, disciplined, able to work independently, and comfortable with sales targets.
