We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Specialist to lead our team in identifying, evaluating, and launching new business ventures. This is a high-impact role where you'll play a pivotal part in shaping our company's growth trajectory.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Way in Business Development

You will be the driving force behind our business development process, taking ventures from initial concept through to successful closure. This includes:

• Strategic Vision: Collaborating with investors to set ambitious goals and milestones for each new venture.
• Deal Expertise: Assessing and prioritizing proposals based on investment criteria, offering innovative commercial and technical solutions to enhance our offerings.
• Negotiation Prowess: Leading the development and execution of negotiation strategies, managing commercial agreements, and reviewing legal documents (e.g., head of terms, MoUs, cost-sharing agreements).
• Collaboration: Partnering with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, strategy, etc.) and external entities (consultants, advisors) to drive business opportunities forward.
• Executive Leadership: Preparing and presenting compelling briefs to corporate committees and executives.
• Team Development: Providing guidance and mentorship to your team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in business development, venture capital, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CFA, CMA, PMP, or similar) is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, valuation, and business operations.
• Proven track record in one or more areas: carve-out divestment, financial restructuring, or IPOs.
• Deep understanding of industry best practices, regulatory frameworks, and government mandates.
