Introduction:

Our client is a major global automotive company, looking for a Strategic Marketing & Business Development Manager in Shanghai

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for profitable growth with new and existing customers

- Lead strategic opportunity management for identification and realization of additional growth potential

- Define business cases for selected technologies together with sales, R&D and BU as base for investment decisions

- Drive product marketing, define unique value propositions and lead new product launch with comprehensive customer engagement campaigns

- Acquire and develop new customers and/or businesses with existing customers through proactive marketing activities and product placements, including organization exhibitions, techdays, innovation technology meetings etc.

- Conduct regular voice of customer campaigns to gain insights on markets and technologies

- Support innovation management in identification and selection of future technologies and systems

- Support sales in customer acquisition process

- Support Technical Account Management for definition of customer-specific product roadmaps

- Support competitor product & technology benchmarking

- Support development of partnerships and M&A activities

Requirements:

- Significant experience in a similar role with a proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies

- Fluent English
