Introduction:
Our client is looking for a General Manager for their operations in Changsha, Hunan Province
Responsibilities:
- Execute the corporate strategic business plan to promote, grow, and manage our business. Full responsibility for the business targets, budget and EBIT
- Develop and execute short and long-term business plans and associated budgets
- Accept regional/plan responsibility; customer interface responsibility; coordination of product development; regional execution of Automotive policies and structure
- Identifies areas of risk in regulatory compliance and takes a lead role in identifying strategies to minimize risk
- Leads and facilitates change efforts to create a strong culture of leaders and high performance teams
- Builds and maintains effective working relations with the Asia leadership team and employee-partners to advise both on employee-related or organizational matters
- Manages multiple branches
- Build and maintain a positive network of relationships with local government administrative bodies, community representatives, suppliers and customers
- Contribute to the recruitment and development of a high potential regional leadership teams and coordinate with and develop a strong relationship with our customers
- Understand the products, processes, market and the relationship among our global operations and be able to function with a hands-on approach to managing and solving problems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience in operations and/or supply chain management,Success must be evidenced by a track record of promotions
- Prior experience in managing sizeable facilities in China is a plus
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and administering agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with continuous improvement techniques and tools
- good experience in the area of technical development. Good exposure to technical products
- High energy level. Effective motivator and team builder/leader, excellent communicator
- Self-confident: able to act as a peer, partner and mentor, but also as a challenger to the status-quo
- Acts with absolute and uncompromising integrity
