Responsibilities:

-Create and maintain testing tools and automation software using LabView, Python, or C/C++ on Linux platforms, supporting verification of optical and embedded systems.

-Develop customized test routines and automated workflows for products such as optical switches, OSAs, EDFAs, VOAs, and optical transceivers.

-Integrate test data with cloud-based platforms (such as Google Cloud Platform) for analytics and monitoring purposes.

-Work closely with engineering teams across optics, hardware, and software to define test coverage and resolve technical issues.

-Utilize DevOps tools and CI/CD practices (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) to maintain code quality and testing efficiency.

-Interpret test results to enhance product stability, optimize performance, and identify areas for system improvement.

-Prepare clear documentation for testing methodologies, code architecture, and test infrastructure.

Requirements:

-Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related technical field.

-At least 3 years of experience in software testing or test system development, particularly for optical or photonic -technologies.

-Strong knowledge of Linux systems, embedded software, and networking principles.

-Experience in writing test software using Python and LabView.

-Exposure to GCP or other cloud services for handling large-scale data analysis.

-Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control systems.

-Practical experience using optical lab instruments such as power meters, BER testers, and spectrum analyzers.

-Programming experience in additional languages like C++ for low-level system development.

-Familiarity with test automation frameworks relevant to optical or telecom equipment.

-Understanding of Agile methodologies and team-based development practices.
