Introduction:

Negotiating prices in best interest of the company

Responsibilities:

SPECIFIC AND MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintaining good working relationships with suppliers  in Thailand and overseas

Negotiating prices in best interest of the company

Deciding suitable shipping methods and coordinating with forwarders

Overseeing Sourcing activities

Issuing purchase orders

Assisting Inventory Control to maintain reorder quantities in MS NAV

Assist with BOI projects

Assisting QA department to communicate and coordinate

supplier corrective actions      

Organizing and leading department ISO compliance:

Internal and External Audit

Maintaining Procedure documentation

External Provider Performance tracking and reporting

Training and development of subordinates

Requirements:

Qualification

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Purchasing roles for Overseas.     

Excellent English spoken and written – must be able to negotiate with foreign external providers

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills - this is a key position in the companyand you are communicating with many different internal and external providers

Good knowledge of suppliers in manufacturing industries

Experience in import of goods

Technical knowledge of components and manufacturing processes

Must have a good command of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Knowledge of MS NAV or similar ERP system
