Introduction:

A key opportunity exists for a Financial Controller to lead and manage the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise, ideally with a background in auditing and experience across various industries. This role is pivotal in driving strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance, and maintaining effective financial controls.

Responsibilities:

  1. Group Finance & Audit: Oversee the consolidation of group financial statements, address complex accounting matters, and manage relationships with external auditors during annual audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance. Prepare and review accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budget development process in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Monitor budget performance, provide strategic insights to senior management, and develop comprehensive financial forecasts to support informed decision-making.
  4. Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Guarantee compliance with Thai regulations, tax laws, BOI requirements, and company policies. Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  5. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively to maintain adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments. Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  6. Team Leadership & Development: Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the accounting and finance team, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting continuous professional growth.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  2. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a management or controlling capacity.
  3. Current and valid CPA certification is mandatory.
  4. Excellent proficiency in all aspects of English communication (written and verbal).
  5. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is considered a plus.
  7. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
