Introduction:

Position: Procurement/Purchasing Manager Location: Rayong / Chonburi Salary: 60,000 – 100,000 THB / Month

Responsibilities:

• Understand of the market for products and raw materials purchased and lead best practice within the procurement process
• Develop purchasing strategies both direct and indirect process and perform cost and scenario analysis, possible growth and benchmarking
• Evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors
• Ensure the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Maintain procurement of investment project & contracts management systems
• Deliver procurement strategy & risk mitigation, strategic planning, negotiation, influencing, and leadership qualities
• Develop and lead sourcing contracts for low to high value/risk activities, including preparation of high quality fit for purpose procurement documentation.
• Maintain forecasts (volume and price) and impact pricing on future activities
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Perform savings initiatives to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply
• Lead negotiations to deliver strong commercial and operational outcomes.
• Identify risks and develop highly effective mitigation strategies
• Coach team members & stakeholders in areas including procurement systems, standards & analysis as well as systems implementations

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Chemical,  Logistics or Business Administration
• Proven working experience in management level in multinational or global companies
• Familiarity with sourcing, project bidding and vendor management in manufacturing company
• Strong leadership capabilities and solid judgement along with decision making skills
• Highly confident in dealing with and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Excellent skills in English communication and computer literacy with SAP experience
