Human Resources Director, China A leading pharmaceutical company with a fully integrated strong infrastructure in drug development, regulatory, manufacturing, sales and marketing based in China with global perspective is looking to appoint a seasoned Human Resources Director based in Guangzhou, China.

  •  As a HR Generalist Leader, you will be responsible for managing the overall HR functions to identify HR service needs based on short-term and long-term workforce planning, business needs and employee needs.  
  •  Identify effective staffing strategies to meet workforce requirements of ad hoc business projects/programs.
  •  Build talent pipeline working with business units and functional departments based on the agreed upon OD process.  
  •  Formulate policies and procedures by ensuring they are in compliance with labour laws and local regulations.
  •  Identify employee training and development needs to support long-range business growth in China.
  • Build high performance culture to support rapid and steady businesses growth by launching performance management process and organization development interventions.  
  • Identify the best fit compensation & benefit positioning and ensure it is market competitive for attracting and retaining good performers. Adopt systematic approach to build effective compensation and benefit structure and philosophy.  
  • Promote and drive multi-channel employee communication strategy for elimination of communication gap across all work units.  

VP Human Resource ( Engineering)

Our client is a large teleco company that is looking to bring on board a Vice President of Human Resources that would support the engineering sector.

  • Effectively diagnoses business issues and goals, ensuring HR strategy is aligned with the business strategy
  • Leads the talent plan and people strategy in tight collaboration and consultation with respective leadership team      
  • Drives implementation of HR strategy and associated initiatives through the respective HR team        
  • Developments the Group's HR priorities and strategy
  • Leads & drives talent management & retention strategies to meet the medium to longer term talent needs in driving the business imperatives
  • Talent & succession bench planning initiatives within Engineering
  • Masterminds the talent development roadmap within Engineering in alignment with GHR talent management philosophy         
  • Act as internal coach to the Engineering leadership team
  • Support leadership decisions regarding organizational effectiveness and employee engagement strategy and program implementation
  • Works with senior leaders to optimize organizational design and drive business performance
  • Actively consults and provides solutions related to workforce, talent and organizational matters or implementation on GHR Programs
  • Advises on the design of HR programs, ensuring programs remain relevant in meeting business strategy and goals
  • Provides leadership on global HR programs and drives seamless delivery of HR services through the employee life cycle in Engineering 
  • Identifies and leads organizational change initiatives within business unit      
  • Provides insights on aspects of organizational change and transition
  • Provides leadership and direction to respective HR team to ensure the teams' growth  global imperatives     
  • Partner closely with respective COE team supporting innovation, design and implementation of the HR digitization strategy, global HR policies & initiatives  
  • Accelerate team performance by continual improvement on people, process and support systems; providing effective coaching and motivation to staff members and identifying their learning & development needs to maintain sufficient HR talent bench strength   
  • Champion HR initiatives and lead cross team projects
