Senior Project Manager (Singapore)

Our client a Global financial services player is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Singapore. This person will oversee and manage the execution and implementation of the Individual Accountability and Conduct (‘IAC’) regime from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (‘MAS’).

You will work with senior business leaders in legal/compliance, investment operations and Business Teams to interpret, define and implement all required components of the framework ensuring best practices and high standards to ensure all Singapore functions are compliant before September 2021.

You will establish a program governance model including team roles and responsibilities and will ensure that ongoing work and processes can be effectively handed off to the business to carry on after the program is completed. Manage risks, issues and internal/external dependencies and will be expected to coach team members on project management processes and best practices and effectively facilitate senior leaders and cross-functional teams to make decisions and achieve program objectives.

• Define processes based on ITIL frameworks to identify the roles and responsibilities
• Facilitate agreements & negotiations between project team and support teams
• Working across the organization to identify and assess demand for new service introductions with operational delivery units and prepare prioritization discussion of associated resource demands, ensuring consistency with overall demand / supply planning

  • Delivery of his/her respective ITIL processes to support business objectives. To support the delivery of these activities this role will require coverage across critical business hours and 24 x 7 standby support For the specific process area of responsibility:
• Monitor compliance to the ITIL processes specifically incident management for BAU and Project deliveries
• Control gathering of process metrics and documentation for production support
• Acting as the interface between service users and service delivery for correct approval, prioritization and resolution where appropriate
• Conducting, investigating, escalating and resolving incidents and supporting problems management
• Assist team with reviewing processes and redesigning procedures, on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency, and socializing changes across implementation teams
• Representing at appropriate governance forums with technical team and business
• Managing and mobilizing the team of technical resources delivering these activities.
