Introduction:

Responsibilities:

      Supplier sourcing, evaluation, cost and trading terms negotiation.

      Work with suppliers, overseas buyers, designers, engineers and follow up project schedule from parts introduction to Mass production. 

      Support the purchasing function to relevant factory and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.

      Price analysis and negotiation. Examining existing business, and finding ways to reduce procurement costs.

      Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation.

      Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.

      Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.

      Audit process at production sites and provide quality improvement guidance to suppliers.

Requirements:

      Ability to speak business English (Japanese is preferred-N2)

      Technical sales or equivalent experience

      Have knowledge of quality control

      Have experience negotiating with business partners

      People who is willing to travel overseas
