Responsibilities:

Our client is a well-known organization in the industry with manufacturing plants in China and overseas.  We are very committed to developing and investing the right talents to be part of our integral management team to continue growing the organization.  

The incumbent shall be based in S. China to answer the business strategy and the HR objectives.  The role shall provide full-spectrum of HR solutions for the PRC divisions by deploying rationale market insights and organizational agility to guide the decision-making process.  The role also provides consulting and coaching to departmental managers in order to support the business’s vision, mission and overall objectives.  Additional responsibilities will include such as HR & Administrative transformation, employee engagement, health and safety issues, government relations and overseeing the sizeable manufacturing workforce while bringing the company to the forefront of modern HR management practice. 

Requirements:

• Candidates should obtain a recognized HR qualification with at least 10 years of HR practice experience obtained from the manufacturing industry in China.   
• A suitable candidate should also has vast knowledge of labour laws and practices in China with a good understanding of recruitment metrics, management systems and approaches. 
• A qualified candidate is required to demonstrate proven experience in influencing senior management and departmental heads to adopt ultimately beneficial people management policies and procedures.
• We are seeking a Department Head who is hands-on and committed with a strong belief in leading by good examples.  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a must.   
• Willing to station at the Manufacturing Plant in South China.
