Introduction:

The role of the Flexera Expert is to support, manage, and administer licences, entitlements, and software usage in Flexera. This includes to create licences and purchase orders in Flexera, set up reports about the licence compliance situation and on top of this analyse the data and propose actions to be taken.

Responsibilities:

• Support the licence management project by 
• Creating Reports for licence usage on demand 
• Check purchase order load file and upload data to FNMS 
• Create Dashboard for licence manager and product owner 
• Create and Implement standard workflows to cover FNMS requests 
   
• Support BAU activities: 
• Be the contact person for Flexera support and track the status of requests 
• Provide Weekly/Monthly dashboard 
• Support the licence managers for bulk updates and imports 
• In case there is suspect of the inventory is not correct to start an investigation with regional and/or global business and involved entity. 
• Support in integration of SCCM, AppV, ServiceNow, UCMDB, vCenter and XenApp with Flexera Environment. 
• Case management with Flexera vendor for level 2 and 3 FNMS issues/bugs/enhancements. 

 

Functional experience:     

• 5+ years’ experience as a Flexera/FNMS expert 
• Experience with the Flexera Cognos module 
• Experience with IT Asset Management Tool, preferable ServiceNow 
• Able to analyse and present data  
• Solid technical experience within service or operational environment 

 

Requirements:

• Understand complexity of licensing models. 
• Ability to perform license reconciliation and optimization 
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; must be a self-motivated self-starter that can initiate ideas and take ownership of work 
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise 
• Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical way  
• Work in a team, build relationship with other teams – Share to succeed 
• Work in an International context – global mindset 
• Fluent English skills
