Temp Finance Analyst (4+ months contract start in Jan 2022 / HK$38K / Central)

Introduction:
Our client is an international organization that serves investment management professionals with educational, ethical and certification programs. They are looking for a high calibre candidate to fulfil the above mentioned position and expected the contract start in early of January 2022. Details are as followings:
Responsibilities:
- Provide audit and reporting support to the China entities associated with the organization.
- Reconcile the books and records in NetSuite (general ledger) to the financial statements prepared in Excel.
- Provide support to statutory audit for standalone entities and consolidated entity.
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to support monthly and annual close processes relating to accruals, fixed assets, leases, intercompany transaction, reconciliations, etc.
- Prepare the monthly accounting books for local reporting in China working together with the local service provider, and ensure any adjustments are properly identified and reconciled with the Head Office finance team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of working experience in general accounting with exposure to financial reporting, preferably in a commercial multinational environment.
- Familiarity with IFRS and experience with PRC GAAP preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite and Solution 7 is an advantage
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and /or Mandarin.
- Ability to read and/or write Simplified Chinese.
- Ability to operate in a global organization and flex around different time zones.
