Introduction:

Our client, a rapidly growing company engaging in the FMCG industry is currently in search of a high caliber Finance Director to lead the team

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the CEO Asia and CFO Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for all day-to-day strategic and operational finance activities across all business of PRC, Hong Kong & Macau SAR and improve the audit process & controls in place so as to increase the maturity level for our business growth.  This candidate will be responsible for:

·             Carry out daily management, overall planning and control of the company's financial work for PRC, Hong Kong and Macau operations

·             Propose, execute and manage internal control / compliance plans to minimize the operational risk on regulatory reporting

·             Perform risk assessments to identify new key controls for business processes

·             Perform compliance audits and reviews of business processes to ensure that control objectives are being met

·             Be a key business partner to related business lines, prepare management reports and analysis and work closely with the business lines to drive increased profitability

·             Responsible for a variety of different finance functions including (but not limited to) conducting in-depth quarterly reviews of each business with a focus on accounting, reconciliations, debtor management, inventory management and cost control

·             Oversee and manage the Financial Management Information System

·             Cooperate with all senior management and group stakeholders to complete other financial tasks

Requirements:

·             Qualified member of a recognized accountancy body with University Degree or above in Finance or related disciplines

·             Minimum 15 years of experience in financial management position and have commercial experience in a corporate role preferably from Food Industry / FMCG Companies / sizable MNC

·             Previous audit experience from Big 4 Accounting firm will be a definite advantage

·             Well conversant with Business Information System with sound IT background

·             Excellent business sense and commercial awareness

·             People management experience in leading teams

·             Excellent command of spoken & written English, Mandarin & Cantonese

·             Familiar with local and PRC’s finance and economics, laws and regulations, tax policies and or related financial policies

·             High awareness of Risk Control Management and related experience are highly preferred

·             Occasional travel to PRC is required
