Introduction:

Our client is looking for AS400 Developers to join their team :

Responsibilities:

• Work as application analyst/developer to provide application solutions to the business
• Analyze business needs and recommend viable IT solutions to meet these requirements
• Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business needs, according to established standards and best practices
• Conduct and support testing to ensure the quality of all deliverables
• Produce documentation on system solutions to ensure their maintainability and smooth implementation across local and regional sites

Requirements:

• A university graduate with degree in IT or a related discipline
• At least eight years’ relevant IT experience in software design, development and testing
•  Individuals with less experience will be considered as Senior Development Officer
• Sound knowledge of iSeries, RPG, ILE and CL programming
• Knowledge and experience in the following areas are advantages:
•  Treasury products/systems and back office process workflows
• A fast learner with effective planning, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, possess an outgoing personality, self-motivated and be able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong communication and presentation skills with fluent written and spoken English
