Introduction:

BOM/Costing Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain new Bill of Materials (BOM) and manufacturing routings within the ERP system, while managing revisions and updates to existing product structures.
2. Liaise with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Planning to ensure BOM data remains current and aligned with product changes.
3. Collaborate with design teams to accurately interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
4. Analyze and resolve BOM implementation discrepancies, incorporating process feedback to maintain data integrity.
5. Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and corrective actions to stakeholders across different organizational levels.
6. Support the enhancement and deployment of methodologies, tools, and standard operating procedures to improve BOM accuracy and efficiency.
7. Conduct validation of BOM structures and routing information against actual production consumption in coordination with Manufacturing Engineering and related departments.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
2. Solid experience in BOM administration, product costing, or master data management within a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong understanding of material planning, supply chain operations, and manufacturing processes.
4. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and interpersonal communication abilities.
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
6. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
7. Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
