Responsibilities:

  • Managing of existing key accounts and the development of new accounts
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients
  • Addressing and resolving key clients’ immediate needs and future plans
  • Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams
  • Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customised solutions
  • Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's long-term goals
  • Attend Sales Meetings, Trade Shows & Product Training as required.

Requirements:

  • Key Account Manager experience is preferred in automotive.
  • Prior achievement in areas of responsibility, specifically sales results, customer relationship development and  management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence decisions, facilitate outcomes and achieve results.
  • Proven experience in Sales with a “hunter mindset” & the drive to succeed
  • Natural problem solver - takes a structured approach to collecting facts, logically determining the root cause, and identifying the simplest solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Outgoing nature with a positive and motivated approach who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and can work calmly under pressure.
