Introduction:

Position: Sr.Safety Officer(Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Control and manage about Safety , Health and Environmental management
• Support the development of HSE policies and programs
• Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
• Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
• Initiate and organize HSE training awareness of new employees, employees and executives
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
• Safety activities, patrol and safety monitoring
• Control Safety equipment Inventory
• Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures 
• Provide for motivation of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
• Performs Risk Assessment
• Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or another similar field
• 5 or above years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment
• Minimum 2 years in a senior/supervisor level.
• Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems for Automotive industry is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to work with, provide advice to train in Health and Safety to all staff
• The ability to organize and prioritize workload
