Introduction:

Sales Manager (OEM-Automotive) Location: Bangkok Our client is a global automotive parts manufacturer. Monthly salary: 100,000–140,000 THB

Responsibilities:

·         OEM Sales formulates strategies for strengthening assigned accounts and maximizing the company's potential to establish business partnerships with the OEM.

·         Directly responsible for gathering, analyzing, and developing OEM profiles.

·         Maintains up to date knowledge of customers, competitors, market share and future technologies with regard to the assigned customers.

·         Lead business units responsible for the competitive RFQ process, quotation strategy and tactics, and customer negotiation.

·         Seek sales growth opportunities by identifying customer programs, requirements, foreseeing target prices, and competitor information.

·         Define, implement, and control a worldwide 5 year business plan (sales plan) based on a comprehensive product portfolio analysis and industry knowledge and aligned to the business unit's strategy.

·         Establish and adjust selling prices, including annual cost reduction negotiations with the assigned customer accounts.

·         Leads price, claim or contract negotiations from and towards customers within defined parameters

·         Analyze and evaluate information about markets and competitors.

·         Continuously monitors OEM satisfaction and communicates the OEM's concerns to those who serve the OEM.

·         Coordinates the efforts of all parties that are to provide service to the OEM to ensure that a company-wide synergistic approach is provided to satisfy the OEM account.

·         Reports status of assigned OEM account issues to the Key Account Manager on an ongoing basis.

·         Performs all other duties assigned by the Head of Sales. 

Requirements:

·         A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related fields.

·         10 years’ experience in Automotive Industry, showing a track record proving significant program acquisitions

·         Ability to promote new products with today’s customers as well as existing products with new customers, anticipating market trends, providing early input to the L&P Engineering Team on the new developments to focus on in order to get ahead of the competitors.

·         Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

·         International mindset, to ensure the best communication with OEM customers having a global footprint and with the L&P global team

·         Capable of working autonomously and analytically in a problem-solving environment

·         Able to travel overseas,

·         Good English communication and Japanese are preferred.
