Coaching, counseling, and disciplining the logistics employees as needed by encoding policies and procedures.

Working closely with various people both internally and with external vendors of the company negotiating to get the best rates possible on materials and logistics services.

Being responsible for creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews in order to achieve logistics operational objectives.

Working with the team to develop, implement, and enforce warehouse and logistics operation systems that create more efficiencies.

Working closely with the Logistics and DC teams to determine the best practice for product handling and storage requirements.

Developing and managing Logistics Key Performance Indicators & Work Instruction (WI).

Ensuring the delivery is aligning with the timeline.

Finding the solution for any complaints and problems.

Managing the route planning, dispatch, and delivery of goods to all stores.

Managing the reverse logistics and tote returns.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or any field.

5 years of experience in overall logistics & warehouse management from any MFG (food is a plus).

New setup experience is preferred/SAP software is a plus (not a must).

Able to go to work by own transportation.

Initiative and flexible, familiar to work with Indian culture (fast and sometimes not clear guidelines).

Good command of both written and spoken English.
