VP Operations (Hospitality)

Introduction:

Our client is a 5* premium luxury International Chain of hotels is looking for someone who thinks “like an entrepreneur” to join as their VP Operations based in Singapore. This position will report to the CEO and will be based in Singapore with occasional traveling overseas for property visits.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of new concepts, as well as strategic planning and execution to enhance branding, profitability and efficiency of Group’s operations across various locations
  • Formulate and drive key discussions with relevant stakeholders to ensure that Group’s operational priorities are aligned with its objectives
  • Analyze market conditions and ensure market competitiveness to ensure premium position of the Group’s businesses and improvement of market share
  • Review operating plans to continuously improve business concepts and processes, including budget spending, labour efficiency, material efficiency, new areas of technology and customer service 

Requirements:

  • Strong luxury foundation in top 5* internationally branded properties
  • Previous experience at Corporate level in Asia
  • Prior working experience as General Manager with F&B Service background
  • Capable of contributing to the strategic direction of the company through constant improvement in processes
  • Strong interest in Michelin Star level establishments
  • Strong in concept development
  • Dynamic, driven, innovative, creative, passionate, hands-on
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Solid decision making and problem solving skills, even when under pressure
  • Solid skills in financial analysis and reporting, able to set budget targets
  • Natural ease in dealing with owners and relevant stakeholders
  • Solid organizational development, planning and personnel assessment skills
  • Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
  • Proven business / financial results
  • Quality orientated
  • Excellent people skills and strong motivator
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel's operating policies & standards
