Show Manager (Animation, SFX, SAE)


Our client is one of the top Global Theme Park ; their new project is built in Beijing Now. We are looking for candidates that:

·   Chinese Mandarin is a must; English is a must

·   8 months to 13 months contract base


Job Summary:

·   Provide technical guidance and mentoring as required to relevant parties within detailed installation, test and adjust activities in the field;

·   Advises on the status and engineering quality of show & ride systems including areas of risk or potential future risks;

·   Trouble-shooting and debug.

·   Ensure all Show equipment maintains safety, performance, creative intent, and reliability, and is in compliance with Universal Specifications, accepted manufacturing practices and local codes and standards.

·   Provide technical guidance and mentoring as required to all Project Team members. May direct perform technical duties and take technical responsibilities as required.

·   Oversee technical interaction between Show Technical and Creative Personnel, Vendors, Sub-contractors, and other relevant 3rd parties involved with Show systems.

·   Ensure that show scopes are consistent with financial and schedule requirements to ensure attainment of project goals. Track both during project execution and assist team in keeping expectations aligned with reality.

·   Participate in planning, re-planning, risk assessment, risk management, and work-around development as required.

·   Enforce Show technical principles to provide a quality product and necessary deliverables. Verify that training, familiarization, and deliverables to the operator prior to commissioning are complete and effective.

·   Maintain an open working relationship with park customers, project team, and vendors to help build strong team cohesion and motivation within and with the Attraction Technical Team

·   Advise and be accountable to the SVP of Engineering regarding the status and engineering quality of Show systems including areas of risk or potential future risks

·   Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

·   Perform other duties as assigned.


·   EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree

·   EXPERIENCE: 7 - 10 Years design, production and project/contract management experience required.

·   7 - 10 Years field construction experience specific to set/scenic, creative architecture and the theme park industry.

·   Could use English as working language.

·   More than 5 years’ working experience; Candidates with animation experience is preferred

·   Vendor management experience;

·   Use PLC systems—Rockwell is preferred, Siemens is workable
