Regional Sales Manager (SEA) - Packaging

  • Generating and exceeding annual sales and margin targets for given region
  • Providing consultation, guidance and direction to current clients
  • Executing strategy for securing key target accounts
  • Maintaining sales forecasts and budgets
  • Control travel expenses
  • Supporting go-to-market strategy
  • Managing gross margin
  • Securing competitive data to be analyzed
  • Lead the sales team to exceed volume and profit goals through new account development, growth in existing accounts, and margin improvement initiatives
  • Negotiate large customer contracts and support the development of formal agreements in partnership with Sales Representatives, Management, and Legal
  • Manage pipeline through monthly sales meetings and cadence calls with Sales Representatives
  • Conduct monthly performance review meetings with direct reports to assess performance, identify and remove obstacles, and discuss opportunities for growth and development


  • Bachelors Degree in Sales or related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Masters) preferred
  • 8+ years progressive sales management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience
  • Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skillsÂ
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
