Operation Manager (e-Commerce) - Native English speaking

Introduction:

Our client, an e-Commerce Logistics company is seeking a high caliber candidate for the position of Operation Manager (e-Commerce).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with the 3PL’s, partners, and carriers to ensure customer expectations exceeded
  • Forecasting and carrier planning
  • Lead and drive day to day operations ensuring all service levels are achieved
  • Support all new service implementations working with the Senior Management team
  • Look to achieve faster and wider choice of deliveries and returns for our customers
  • Support the Delivery Solutions operational and IT road maps
  • Work with the 3PL teams to ensure optimized solutions exist
  • Work with Customer Care to manage internal relations alongside improve customer experiences
  • Delivery Solutions Reporting
  • Pro-active SLA and KPI monitoring and management
  • Financial Management – managing carriers to ensure they deliver within contractual parameters
  • Owning and conducting regular carrier reviews, managing performance alongside looking to identify opportunities
  • Peak/holiday and seasonal planning, pushing boundaries to provide enhanced delivery propositions for our customers
  • Able to identify cost related risk and where necessary implement corrective action
  • Experience or ability to volume reduction in emergency situations

Requirements:

  • Experience of Asia Pacific carrier market
  • Awareness of international carrier operations
  • Previous experience of and a preference of working with 3PL providers alongside Multiple Carriers
  • Retail experience (desirable) 
  • Creation of financial business cases 
  • Experience of presenting to Senior Management level
  • Innovative and customer focused
  • Ability to adapt to rapid change, identify and implement process improvements
  • Ability to communicate affectively at all levels
  • Project Management skills (desirable)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • Good command in English (Native speaking)
  • Knowledge of Six-Sigma
  • Knowledge of Lean Methodology
  • Must have experience in e-Commerce platforms
