A leading pharmaceutical company with a fully integrated strong infrastructure in drug development, regulatory, manufacturing, sales and marketing based in China with global perspective is looking to appoint a seasoned Human Resources Director based in Guangzhou, China.
Responsibilities:

- As a HR
Generalist Leader, you will be responsible for managing the overall HR
functions to identify HR service needs based on short-term and long-term
workforce planning, business needs and employee needs.
- Identify
effective staffing strategies to meet workforce requirements of ad hoc business
projects/programs.
- Build talent
pipeline working with business units and functional departments based on the
agreed upon OD process.
- Formulate
policies and procedures by ensuring they are in compliance with labour laws and
local regulations.
- Identify employee
training and development needs to support long-range business growth in China.
- Build high
performance culture to support rapid and steady businesses growth by launching
performance management process and organization development interventions.
- Identify the best
fit compensation & benefit positioning and ensure it is market competitive
for attracting and retaining good performers. Adopt systematic approach to
build effective compensation and benefit structure and philosophy.
- Promote and drive
multi-channel employee communication strategy for elimination of communication
gap across all work units.
Requirements:

- Based in Guangzhou.
- Degree holder in HR or other related disciplines.
- Over 10-12 years of proven business partner experience and at least 8-10 years of management experience.
- Must have experience Human Resources in a manufacturing industry. Life Sciences industry highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing skills and a strong team player.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to be a strategic thinker and planner to the business and able to achieve operational excellence through optimizing daily operations.
- Proficiency in labour laws and the ability to mitigate risk on behalf of the organization.
- Highly independent, mature and flexible.
