Introduction:

Our client is a well-known Global Sports brand focused on sports performance, streetwear, fashion, and sports apparel. They are looking for a new partner in a key position that is critical to the company in achieving its business objectives and has a significant account and territory responsibility.

Responsibilities:


The purpose of this role is to take care of all the important financial functions of an organization. The person in charge should maintain a far sightedness in order to ensure that the funds are utilized in the most efficient manner. He/she actions directly affect the profitability, growth and goodwill of the firm.

 The other key tasks but not less important are:

·       Compilation and overseeing of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting system & accounting activities including annotations and references to the management with the development of detailed and meaningful analysis per country, business, customers, and over specific issues if needed, in order to highlight critical business issues and to facilitate management decision making;

·       Compilation, coordination, validation and assessments of reasonableness of the budgets /forecasts partnering with the business units and functions per management direction;

·       Understand & evaluate business operation process workflow integrated with financial operational workflow with financial impacts. Improve/change of the above per the change of business scenarios;

·       Compilation and submission of external reporting such as statutory accounts and tax computation per that statutory requirement with timeliness and accuracy. Liaise with Auditors and Tax and Legal advisors;

·       Ensure indirect tax compliance – GST and withholding tax computation and submission in conjunction of review of expenses recharge/purchases from sales co.;

·       Continuous improvement of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures as well as maintenance of the accounting system;

·       Evaluate staff’s strength and character and individual’s performance effectiveness in providing business support. Provide appropriate guidance, coaching, development and motivation to ensure staff become engaged, independent, committed and self driven;

·       Ensure proper execution of transfer pricing in accordance with documentation – verification of intercompany selling pricing;

·       To establish technical framework for stock synchronization across all channels according to predefined business rules;

·       Define and monitor technical KPIs focusing on goals for article onboarding, inventory health and customer experience, drive and execute initiatives to improve them.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor Degree with Certified Public Accountant;

·       At least 3 years’ experience in a mid- management level finance or accounting position, with renowned multinational company is a plus;

·       SAP, Hyperion, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint);

·       Big 4 Audit experience for at least 3 years;

·       Previous management experience;

·       Previous experience in Industry: Retail, FMCG is a differential;

·       Fluent/Advanced in English (2nd language is a plus);

·       Excellent written and verbal communication.
