Commodity Buyer

Introduction:

Location: Rayong Our client is a global automotive manufacturer

Responsibilities:

·         Initiate best practice standards, strategy, and commodity strategy development.

·         Identify global demands for the assigned commodities in line with budget requirements

·         Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures.

·         Manage the purchasing services management team to develop, test, integrate and execute the operations, processes

·         Responsible for planning and managing to purchase and support special projects

·         Support projects regarding costs, lead-times and payment terms to ensure that deadlines are achieved.

·         Coordinate with senior leaders and other key personnel in terms of material cost reductions

·         Support coordination of transfers of supplier by insourcing and/or resourcing suppliers

·         Prepare reports and evaluate supplier performance including  updated and accurate supplier data

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or any relevant fields

·         Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing direct material for productivity

·         Solid experience in automotive company is preferable

·         Good command of English communication skills

·         Problem solving and decision-making ability, negotiation skills , and initiative
