Business Solution Manager

Introduction:

The Business Solution Manager oversees all IT developments, from scoping to implementation. He is responsible to deliver solutions that are cost effective and robust, and to look after the continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that solutions delivered meet stakeholders expectations
    • Gather and document business requirements
    • Design technical solutions together with developers
    • Get solutions reviewed and approved by the business owners
  • Act as the scrum product owner for our core platform
    • Ensure that change requests and defects are logged
    • Prioritize tickets in the backlog
    • Lead the sprint planning meetings
  • Coordinate the implementation
    • Review test cases, and ensure that there is no gap in understanding
    • Help the team find solutions, and bring focus
    • Manage platforms dependencies
  • Coordinate User Acceptance tests
    • Conduct end user training
    • Provide UAT support
    • Organize UAT sign-off
  • Organize and monitor production deployment
    • Coordinate the deployment process
    • Organize smoke tests in production
    • Communicate release planning and deployment
  • Ensure that operations get fast and effective support
    • Get production issues quickly attended to
    • Ensure good communication between business and IT
  • Process improvement
    • Promote test automation
    • Promote agile values and practices across the different scrum teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the insurance industry as a Business Analyst or Project Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in IT or related fields
  • Fluent in Thai and English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Pragmatic and self-driven
