Assistant Vice President- Compliance and Operations Support (Banking industry)

Introduction:

Our client is a respectable and a well-known banking organization. We are now seeking an Assistant Vice President- Compliance and Operations Support as follows:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the department head in providing support in the following areas: business support, operational compliance, customer database management, SWIFT communications etc.
  • Provide full range of business operations  support including liaising with internal and external parties
  • Update and upgrade knowledge in latest banking regulations
  • Liaise with the AML team for UAT, system enhancements, suspicious case alerting etc.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, seminars for other departments for topics related to business operations
  • Participate in ad hoc tasks, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in business/banking/ finance preferred
  • Substantial operations experience in the banking industry
  • Supervisory experience/ project management highly preferred
  • Well versed with banking rules, laws and regulations
  • Strong communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication skills
