Assistant Finance Manager

Introduction:

Our client, a well established life insurance brokerage is urgently looking for a high caliber candidate to fulfill the above-mentioned position. Details are as followings:

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable, account payable, and month end closing 
• Prepare monthly and statutory annual financial statements 
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecasting 
• Responsible for cash flow management 
• Assist in/responsible for management reports/financial analysis and accounting schedules 
• Responsible for the commission calculation and realize it in the commission module in the system 
• Maintain effective internal controls and safeguard for accounting functions and reporting integrity 
• Liaise with auditors, bankers and other professional parties 
• Assist in/responsible for upgrade/change in accounting system
• Assist in/responsible for company restructuring
• Perform ad hoc assignments and other duties when required 

Package:

• 13 months salary
• Medical insurance coverage
• 14 days annual leave

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy or related disciplines, preferably with professional accountancy qualification, such as HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent 
• Min 5 years’ relevant accounting experiences in financial or management accounting or external audit, preferably in insurance or insurance broker industry 
• Less experience will be considered for assistant finance manager
• Self-motivated with passion, positive mindset with good communication skills 
• Mature, detail-oriented and able to work independently 
• Open-minded, flexible to adapt changes in work processes and/or work assignments 
• Proactive team player with good interpersonal and communication skills 
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese 
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
• Familiar with Sage 100 accounting system is a plus
