Assistant Digital & E-Business Manager, Travel Retail Asia
Introduction:
Our client, an international luxury watch & jewelry retailer is seeking a candidate for the position of Assistant Digital & E-Business Manager. This role will be primarily managing a
portfolio of PRC projects and other Asian markets targeting Chinese clients to support sales and marketing goals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for digital & e-business strategic planning for business results and growth
- Partner with Manager to develop annual digital and e-business marketing strategy covering all media aspects
- Design, plan and implement e-business platform launches for novelty launch, festive seasons, peak online moments and ad-hoc projects if needed
- Expand travel retail e-business footprint with a mindset of innovations, new business models and operating models
- Lead execution of 3rd party e-business & digital marketing campaigns
- Responsible for follow-up and monitoring with product and merchandising teams on stock inventory, forecasting & logistics delivery for e-business success
- Deliver regular business reporting on acquisition channels and site metrics, new launch success, and other ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Be an ongoing and effective project communicator & facilitator
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant major
- 5+ years proven experience including project management with online retailers/ operators in e-business platform, digital, marketing is a must
- Deep understanding of China media & e-business ecosystem i.e. Alibaba, Tencent etc. is a MUST
- Ability to deliver innovative customer experience and drive a new source of revenue for e-business development
- Experience in luxury and prestige industry related brand is a plus
- Strong business communications skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
