Accounting Manager

Introduction:

Our client a sizable shipping company, they are looking for high caliber professionals who are in search of challenges and take pride in their accomplishments.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce Financial Reports.
• Periodic review of General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable data and initiate corrective action when required.
• Prepare interim and year end closing and ensure smooth statutory audit of Liner company (core business)
• Monitor interim and year end closing of Group entities and ensure smooth statutory audit.
• To assist the Group and Sub-Group consolidation for internal and external reporting.
• Coordinate and complete Annual Audits
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / ACCA/ or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Accounting/Audit with at least 3 years in a Managerial Accounting role
• Proficiency with accounting software – ERP applications and excellent presentation, analytical skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
• Knowledge & Experience in Shipping Industry will be a definite advantage
• Mature self-motivated, team player, deadline-driven and can work under pressure.
